1. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor, and blend! In just one step, your beet hummus is ready to serve.
Makes 6 servings
- 1 (15 oz) can chickpeas or garbanzo beans, drained
- 1 (15 oz) can sliced beets, drained
- 3 Tbl olive oil or other oil
- 2 Tbl lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp cumin (optional)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Pepper to taste
