Ingredients & Instructions
• 1 lb. beef stew meat (use deer or moose too), cubed
• 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
• 1 onion, diced
• 2 tbsp. flour
• 6 cups water
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1/2 tsp. black pepper
• 2 cups carrots, chopped
• 3 cups potatoes, cubed
• 1 can (15 oz) peas
• 1 can (15 oz) corn
1. Heat oil in a large pot.
2. Add beef and flour, stirring to coat beef; brown meat.
3. Add water, salt, and pepper. Heat to boiling; reduce heat and simmer 1 hour.
4. Stir in potatoes and carrots. Simmer 1-2 hours.
5. Add peas and corn; simmer for 15 minutes longer.
Notes - Vegetables may be substituted or eliminated based on your preferences.
